Clevedon Sunset

From Clevedon the sun sets over Wales and often provides glorious coloured displays. On this occasion the entire sky turned orange/yellow which was reflected by the water surrounding the pier.
It had been a very hot Sunday in early August 2020 and although the sun had set a few minutes earlier the temperature was still in the high 20’s (Celsius). There were still families on the beach making the most of the cool sea air as the daylight faded.
Arriving at Clevedon a couple of hours earlier I had a strong suspicion that sunset might be good due to the heat of the day and thin clouds. But it was difficult to know for sure until the sun almost reached the horizon as, only then, did the clouds start to catch the last rays of light and turn the most glorious orange. It was an amazing moment.
